Why India Celebration National Science Day on 28 February 2022 and What’s the theme of (National Science Day) NSD 2022???

On 28th February every year, India celebrates the National Science Day to mark the noble achievement of one of India’s best-known scientist, Nobel Laureate Physicist, Sir C V Raman. On this day in 1928, Sir C V Raman discovered the spectroscopy miracle that was named after him as the ‘Raman Effect’. He has inspired the nation to make its scientific and technological expertise.

National Science Day theme 2022 :-

National Science Day is famed every time grounded on different themes. This year the theme is ‘Integrated Approach in Science and Technology for Sustainable Future’.

History:-

The National Council for Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC), in 1986, asked the Government of India to publish February 28 as National Science Day. The government took and posted the day National Science Day. The 1st National Science Day was celebrated on February 28, 1987. For details read here:

Importance:-

National Science Day is celebrated to raise knowledge of the significance of wisdom. Educational institutions celebrate National Science Day by organizing public speeches, radio, Television, wisdom film land, wisdom exhibitions on themes and generalities, debates, quiz competitions, lectures, and wisdom model exhibitions.
