There are number of species of woodborers, the most common among is the Powder Post Beetle (Niobium punctuator) and is known as the furniture beetle. The furniture beetle is considered as the most serious pest of all types of seasoned wood. The tiny beetle attacks most of the wood used for framing work, cabinet’s furniture and woodwork.
