Chennai households top the lockdown gadget density ranking - Mumbai

With India in the midst of a lockdown, there is a rising dependency on technology as people work from home; opt for OTT platforms & television for entertainment & connect with their loved ones virtually. The ‘#LifeSlicesByMahindraLifespaces’ study offers insights into the potential preparedness for a lockdown situation through gadgets which provide improved connectivity, facilitate conversations with friends & family and enable virtual collaboration on work-related projects.

‘#LifeSlicesByMahindraLifespaces’ is a light-hearted survey that reveals anecdotes about the way Indians live, their aspirations for the future & how the real estate sector can best meet these aspirations. In addition to other aspects, this Mahindra Lifespaces’ study is intended to understand the technology habits, inclination & needs of householders and the levels of adoption of smart-home devices. Respondents consisted of over 1,000 householders across seven cities in India. They were questioned regarding the presence of different hi-tech gadgets within their homes – ranging from smart TVs & VR equipment to wireless devices.
