Kawal Wildlife Sanctuary Telangana - Bangalore

Kawal Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected area, located at Jannaram mandal of Mancherial District in Telangana. It is the oldest sanctuary in the state, established in 1965 and later declared as Tiger Reserve in 2012. The sanctuary is well known for its abundant flora and fauna and acts as a catchment for Godavari and Kadam rivers, which flow towards the south of the sanctuary.
