Product Description:FEP Encapsulated O ring organically combines the elasticity and tightness of rubber with the chemical resistance of PTFE. It is composed of an inner core made of silicone or FKM and a relatively thin FEP outer cover. FEP Encapsulated O ring has excellent sealing performance. Rubber O-rings are easy to wear and have poor chemical corrosion resistance and gas permeability resistance. Pure PTFE O-rings have high hardness and can resist compression, but poor elasticity. The FEP Encapsulated O ring has good swelling resistance and chemical stability (unless corroded by alkali metal, fluorine and some halides at high temperature).
